In the Spring term, the Year 6s learnt how to write from a character’s perspective by producing a diary entry as Frances Brandywine.

Francis is a mystery story by Dave Eggers which has been turned into a gripping animation that left the classes with so many questions. To put themselves into Francis’ shoes, the children carefully considered how she must have felt as well as the thoughts rushing through her mind during the unexplainable events in the story.

Francis’ diary was an important part of the animation, so the children made their own version - showcasing their fantastic diary writing skills.
