Newsletters are sent to parents and carers every two weeks, on Fridays, giving brief details of forthcoming school events, bulletins and reminders. These newsletters are sent by email so please provide the school with your email address so they can be sent to you directly.
You can also download copies of all newsletters from our website. In addition, class teachers send out curriculum letters at the start of each half term letting parents know what themes and topics the children will be learning that half term and how to support your children at home which are on the class home pages.
We are also committed to making sure our website is up dated regularly and we hope you will be able to find all the school news through the site.
We are also holding regular opportunities for parents and carers to meet with the Head and Deputy – an opportunity to tell you about the curriculum and school life.
Communication is very important to us and we are always looking at ways to keep parents better informed – In April 2012 we introduced a new text messaging service for parents and carers. This means we are able to text you a reminder when key events such as your child’s class assembly or events are happening – so you don’t miss anything. It is obviously important that you let us know if your contact details change.
W are also able to send messages to an application on your phone. If you have a smart phone please download the ParentCommms app for free for either iOS or Android and register so we can send reduced rate messages to you.
