Year 6 enjoyed an eventful week in south Wales, Pendarren House. As soon as they arrived, the children explored the countryside and showed how resilient they were on high ropes and the climbing wall. Throughout the week, the children battled through the rain to find sea creatures during rock pooling, squeezed through tight spaces during caving and enjoyed pushing themselves while climbing and zip lining, in the sun.
After a day full of activities they took part in various evening entertainment, including solving a murder mystery, listening to stories from the amazing Daniel Morden and dancing at a disco.
We couldn’t be prouder of Year 6, who showed they were respectful, responsible, resilient, co-operative, brave, mature, independent and ready for any challenge!
Also, a big thank you to all the adults that accompanied the children on this memorable trip.
