2018’s sports day was a great success! The children had a fantastic day developing a range of athletic skills while competing in teams. Thank you to all the parents who came to support their children at sports day and joined in with the parent’s races.
On Friday 6th July we held our annual summer fair. It was a fantastic event with traditional fair games, Punch & Judy and a special perfromance from our Rock School and Year 5 Samba drummers. A big thank to our PTA for organising our fair and the staff members for their support. In total we raised just over £900.
The choir trip to Finsbury Park
The choir had an amazing opportunity to perform with many young musicians from Haringey once again. Instead of in the Royal Albert Hall, this time it took place on the stage for the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park. Parents from Crowland came to show their support, have a picnic, and listen to the talented musicians from Haringey. A really lovely evening!
Happily Ever After
The Year 6s really showed their talent, dedication and commitment when they performed their end of Year Show, Happily Ever After. Not only did they help write the script, but students were involved in every aspect of the performance, from choreography, set design, prop making to working in the sound and lighting booth on the night. The show was a massive success. It was an emotional evening for audience members as they shed tears of joy and sadness while they were taken on an epic journey across time, space, fiction and reality. Well done Year 6. Crowland are very proud of everything you have achieved!
Crowland's Got Talent
What talent we have at Crowland Primary School. After hard fought auditions, an act from each class was chosen to perform on the stage in Crowland’s Got Talent. There was a magic show, a poetry recital, dance routines, songs, and dance routines. In the end the winner of KS1 CGT was Brooke in Dove Class for some incredible piano playing. The winner of KS2 was Kaja in Parrot class with a stunning singing performance. And the whole event was compered by Efe and Ghabbi in Y6 who did a fantastic job keeping us entertained.
Have an amazing summer!
We hope you all have an amazing summer holiday, and we look forward to seeing all the children on Wednesday 5th September.
