It gives me great pleasure to write to you as the new Headteacher of Crowland Primary School and to welcome you to what I am sure will be a very exciting year ahead.
It is a privilege to be joining Crowland as its new Headteacher and to continue the excellent work already established by Mr Campbell, Mr Winnard, the governors and the whole staff team. I am also delighted to add that we will continue to work closely with Gladesmore Community School alongside Mr Tony Hartney who has insofar provided tremendous support for our school.
Having spent the last 13 years working within a leadership capacity in a variety of schools across London and overseas, I have gained a wide range of valuable skills and experience which I look forward to applying in my new position. Furthermore, I want to ensure that all our children have the best start in life by offering them a happy and exciting learning environment.
As I am certain you are aware, Crowland Primary School has some real strengths. It is my intention together with the continued support of whole staff team, to maintain the highest possible standards in teaching and learning as well as promote the well-being and safety of all our children. I regard the role of parents and carers to be the most crucial in children’s lives and through mutual support we can give them the best opportunities.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the numerous parents/carers who have made me feel so welcome as the Headteacher of Crowland Primary School. Your well-wishes and positive comments have been greatly appreciated.
In order to set the year off to a good start, I would like to invite you for an informal coffee morning on Wednesday 25thth September in the dining hall at 9:00 in the morning. Refreshments will be served and I welcome the opportunity to meet you all in person.
Looking forward to working closely with you in the future.
